A Statement from Naly:

"When COVID started, I had to change gears as a keynote speaker. Throughout the pandemic, I've had a lot of pent up creative energy and it turned into a lot more poetry and writing instead of speaking. I wrote this autobiographical piece from my experience working in technology and being a female founder. Once you get there, you realize that it's not what you think, and working in marketing/branding jaded me to a certain extent with shopping and attaining items that society may consider "successful." After all of it, I realized that I was still just chasing my dream, and money, handbags, or jewelry wasn't enough of a motivation to keep me going on the grind. I had to dig deep and stay true to my morals and integrity through it all but it's worth it in the end."
