My name is Ummul-kiram Patrawala, your host, intuitive, somatic trauma therapist, energy worker, resilience coach, and living proof that we have the power to heal beyond the physical and shift our consciousness from states of survival to states of love.
I am excited to share this practice that I use in my clinical sessions with my clients and is rooted in mindfulness and self-compassion.
Practice this daily for 40 days and notice what emerges for you in your journey of befriending your body.
I invite you to have a journal and pen close by so you can reflect on your experience, and notice what narratives, sensations, and feelings arise.
If this is a new practice for you, then start by connecting with an area of your body that has a mild level of disturbance (discomfort, tension, tightness, restriction, etc)
