As the curtain begins to fall on the Queensland racing carnival, the last Group 1 of the season takes place at Eagle Farm with the Tatts Tiara the headline act there. The Listed Civic Stakes headlines a big Randwick card & some talented youngsters step out at Caulfield.

At Randwick, a forecast soft track and the rail in the 6m mark suggests closer to the pace might be the place to be. A deep card with plenty of chances in most races, including two of the deepest Highway & Midway Handicaps we’ve seen, and a deep Stayers Cup & Civic Stakes. Both boys are tipping a big day for the Gerald Ryan & Sterling Alexiou stable.

At Caulfield we’re greeted by a soft track with the rail in the true position.
