Taryn Southern (@TarynSouthern) is a digital storyteller and singer/songwriter whose videos have received more than 500 million views online. Her background in television and digital media, Taryn got her start hosting live television specials and series as well as guest starring on shows like New Girl, The League, and Rules of Engagement. She then went onto launch a YouTube channel with almost 500,000 subscribers, produce two music albums, and host her own weekly show on Sirius XM radio.

An avid frontier tech enthusiast, Taryn is passionate about speaking on the intersection of science and storytelling. She currently producing an album using only artificial intelligence, and received a grant from Google VR to create a VR music experience for the project. She is also currently producing a feature length documentary exploring human intelligence, directed by Academy Award nominee Morgan Spurlock.

In addition, Taryn has produced about a dozen social impact 360 videos and has worked as a host/producer for HTC Vive, Samsung's Solve for Tomorrow STEM campaign, and Geena Davis' Women in Media campaign.
