Marnita is the founder of Marnita's Table - a non-profit organization that puts together community events utilizing "intentional social interaction" (what they call "IZI") to increase equality and decrease disparities across difference. Marnita has an incredible story as an adopted foster care child who grew up as the only person of color in her small town in the Pacific Northwest. She ultimately found her talent as a cook and community leader after she left home at the age of 16 and threw herself into countless opportunities starting her new life in San Francisco. Enjoy Marnita's amazing journey through life and learn how she has built one of the most influential non-profits in the Twin Cities.
