Think of an Instagram account you’ve been following for at least six months...Now why do you think it deserves your follow? Why haven’t you hit the “unfollow” button? Probably because you feel connected in some way.

I do not get why the paragraph of hashtags at the end of each post, all the ads and the follow-unfollow game is so popular right now! Why do we think that will grow our Instagram? It is SO impersonal and looks SO BAD.

I see a lot of Instagram accounts that are only reaching surface level because they are lacking value. They are not posting valuable content, they are not giving me a valuable connection and I do not feel valued as a follower.

You might find yourself guilty of making these Instagram mistakes, but that’s okay and I promise there’s a better way to gain followers!

I sat down, thought of how I have grown my own Instagram and condensed it all down into 10 points with no ads, no hashtags, no bots, because it’s all in the value that we can give to others.
