The fastest way to the other side of that big emotion or that recurring thought is in and through. 
We can spend a lifetime trying to evade emotions or thoughts that feel uncomfortable. We're conditioned away from pain, hurt, shame, sadness, grief, anger. Learning how to move TOWARD the scary feelings and thoughts (sometimes with a licensed professional such as a trauma-informed psychotherapist!) is the fastest way to liberation.
