Today we are going to dig a little deeper into what Shame is and how we can change our relationship with it so that it is no longer controlling us and minimizing us. Although we can’t completely ameliorate shame, it's part of the human package, we can soften it and temper it and engage with it differently with a healthy dose of empathy. I’ll share some of our thought patterns around shame, some ways we can shift our thinking around it, along with sharing some client examples of shame, and then we’ll discuss how to douse our shame, and that of others, by pouring empathy all over it.
