In continuing on with my book study of TD Jake's book, Soar! Build Your Vision from the Ground Up, the focus is on enjoying the peaks and valleys of the process of building your brand and your business. On page 32, Jakes says, "many people have a vision to become entrepreneurs, but are unable to commit to the demands of building a business from scratch." In other words, we want success yesterday, right? Yet, that's not how creating anything worthwhile happens. I think all of us should know that by now. Nothing amazing happens overnight. Nothing. We're not going to lose 30 pounds in one month (not in a healthy way at least), we're going to learn to become fluent in another language in six months, and we're not going to build a thriving business in three days. It won't happen. There is a process, which are formulas for success in any endeavor if and when we're willing to go through to get through.
