Urayasu local history museum

先週末、千葉の浦安市というところにある、

郷土博物館に行きました。

昭和時代の街を体験できる場所です。

ベカ舟という小さい舟に乗れたり、

ベーゴマや竹馬などの昔の遊びがあったり、とても楽しかったです。

行く前は、なんで無料なんだろう？と思っていたのですが、

子供を含め、ボランティアの方がたくさんいるからだとわかりました。

せんしゅうまつ、ちばの うらやすし という ところにある、

きょうど はくぶつかんに いきました。

しょうわ じだいの まちを たいけんできる ばしょです。

べかぶね という ちいさい ふねに のれたり、

べーごまや たけうまなどの むかしの あそびがあり

とても たのしかったです。

いく まえは、なんで むりょうなんだろう？

と おもっていたのですが、

こどもを ふくめ、ぼらんてぃあの かたが

たくさん いるからだと わかりました。

Last weekend, I went to the Local History Museum

in Urayasu City, Chiba.

It's a place where you can experience a town from the Showa era.

You can ride a small boat called a beka-bune,

and there are old-fashioned games like

be-goma spinning tops and stilts. It was really fun.

Before going, I wondered why it was free,

but I learned it's because there are many volunteers,

including children.

In Urayasu city, there is Tokyo Disneyland.

So, I heard this museum is called

“Hidden theme park in Urayasu”

and getting popular.

You need to take bus from Urayasu station,

but please visit there if you’re interested!
