Sometimes fans reading about athletes who negotiate or renegotiate their contracts can lose sight of the big picture.  For the athlete, it’s about providing for themselves and their families even when they say “It’s not about the money.”  

We can lose our sight on the big picture with God too.  Today we’ve get a chance to reflect on the big picture, that God in his grace, has buried the covenant he made at Sinai.  that the obedience that was lacking was the obedience his son Jesus earned, so that we who were lacking, would be given everything, everything is new.
