“The other thing in terms of following up is don't burn the bridge, live to fight another day and set a next action. Because oftentimes people will just get off the phone with an unclear next step. So it's like, you're not really setting yourself up for a continued relationship. So, if you always are saying, hey, let's meet again, reconvene. I'll check in with you. If I don't hear from you in two years, I'll send you like a pigeon.
