27 YEARS ON PLANET G : 1998-2025 SARAH G DJ MIXES x 77

SARAH G 🚀 LIVE @ TDV20 (07/07/2018)

O2 Academy, Birmingham

First time online since this legendary event. The atmosphere in that room was electric and the heat was so intense I was blinded by sweat pouring into my eyes. I was going to re-record this, as they didn't record the start of my set, but actually, I think it's only right that the Original Live Recording is out there, especially for every person who rocked the hottest dancefloor on the planet to infinity and beyond. Thank you so much for the most incredible view from where I was standing.

Special thanks to The Boys for this gig and all the crew for the brilliant stage production, lights and Live Set Recording. It was an honour to play this tribute to Tony De Vit.

February 2002 Original Live Recording

Sarah G 🚀 EVOLVE

Trance | Vocal Trance | Uplifting Trance | TechTrance | NRG Trance

23/02/2002 Vinyl Only DJ Mix

💜 Here's a little gift to keep you going, whilst I continue working on my Livestream set-up on Planet G. I found the Master Copy of this on a CD in the middle of the night and realised that it isn't in my SoundCloud Collection.

💜 Evolve was born from feeling creatively stifled by success. When you are doing well as a musician or artist, you want to expand your range and your sound, but often feel obliged to deliver what your fans love best when you perform, which is usually your old stuff or a very small slice of what you're really into. Many styles of music that I loved just wouldn't have worked on the crowds I played to, so I recorded this mix wandering off the beaten path of tunes and remixes that I used in my live DJ sets. I wanted to create an electric, eclectic journey through the magical world of trance, in all its weird and wonderful forms.

💜 In retrospect, I absolutely love hearing my weirder mixes nearly 20 years later. They have a more timeless feel with the occasional jump into a cheeky machine that instantly takes you back to a magic moment. You also rediscover some absolute gems that you had forgotten about.

💜 MAKE WEIRD MIXES NOW!! In 20 years time, you'll thank me for it.

💜 This is a Live Vinyl Only DJ Mix, recorded direct to CD on February 23rd 2002. This may be its first Internet Airing in 18 years!

Enjoy this trip.
