Dreams of Consciousness Podcast Episode 279 features an interview with Peter Östlund of Vomitory.

Vomitory may hail from Sweden, but their style of death metal draws more inspiration from German thrash and grindcore than their neighbours in Stockholm and Gothenberg. After seeemingly calling it quits in 2013, the band is active again, and a new generation of death metal fans is ready to discover them.

I spoke with guitarist Peter Östlund about what led to Vomitory's return, and how they came to be regarded as death metal "legends". We also discussed what's new for the band on their comeback album All Heads Are Gonna Roll, and how Kung Fu Panda ended up mixing and mastering the album.
