Welcome to Wisdom Today with Bill Kelley. Today we will be going over Proverb 5. I will then remind the audience that I began this series with Episodes #265 & #275. I will invite them to listen to Episode #275 prior to listening to this podcast. I will set the foundation that we must have our priorities right before thinking about renewing our minds. Our most important relationship here on earth is with our Savior, Jesus Christ, and our Heavenly Father, God Himself. Our next priority is our spouse. On today's proverb I will go over verses 15-20. I will make it perfectly clear that we are not necessarily talking about the man here being wary of the adulteress woman. I could just as easily be talking about the woman being wary of the adulteress man. I will go over the temptation that an attractive person of the opposite sex brings us, but remind everyone that should you enter into a physical relationship with that person that it would not be the type of love that God talks about in the Bible. It would be lust, and no relationship born out of lust will last. I will then go over Phillipians, Chapter #4: verses 10-13. These verses tell us that we should be content whether we have little or a lot, or whether we are hungry or full. Verse 13 tells us that, if we have Christ in our lives we can do all things through Him! We no longer have to think of ourselves as inadequate. We no longer have to feel as though we have nothing to offer. We all have plenty to offer. We need to know who we are (children of God) and walk in that assurance. Call to Action - Either pay a compliment (or lend a helping hand - or both) this coming weekend. Suggested scripture reading - review that verses that we have gone over in this series. On Saturday, read Proverb 6 and on Sunday read Proverb 7.
