Welcome to Wisdom Today with Bill Kelley. Today we will be going over Proverb 3. I will then key in on verses 11 & 12 - My son, do not despise the chastening of the Lord, Nor detest His correction; For whom the Lord loves He corrects, Just as a father the son in whom he delights. Friends, we can be corrected by God either through scripture (the Word of God) or by people that He has placed in our lives - such as our spouse, a parent, a child, a good friend, or even a co-worker or boss). On today's podcast I will begin by reviewing the three points I introduced on Monday's podcast (Episode #869 - if you did not get a chance to tune in to that podcast I invite you to do so). I will then go over the triumphal entry of Jesus into Jerusalem found in Luke, Chapter 19 - verses 28-40. By the end of today's lesson there are three things I ask that you consider:
1. Jesus riding on a donkey was the fulfillment of a prophecy.
2. And as He went, many spread their clothes on the road.
3. If these should keep silent, the stones would immediately cry out.
Scriptures referenced on today's podcast:
Proverb 3:11-12; Luke 19:28-40; Matthew 21:4-5; Zechariah 9:9;l Ephesians 2:14
Call to Action - Are you open to the correction of the Lord (either in scripture - the Bible, or by people that God has placed in your lives - such as your spouse, a child, a parent, a friend, or, even a co-worker or boss)?
