Welcome to Wisdom Today with Bill Kelley. Today we will be going over Proverb 23. I will then key in on verse 13 - Do not withhold discipline from a child; if you strike him with a rod, he will not die. Friends, we are to instruct our children in the way they should conduct their lives (Proverb 22:6) - however there will be times when they do not follow our instructions. In those situations we are to discipline them. We should do this in love - but children need to be told when they are in error, and consequences should follow. On today's podcast we will be continuing our study of the Book of Romans. Today we will be going over the first 10 verses of Chapter 12. By the end of today's lesson there are three things I ask that you consider:
1. We are to offer our bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God.
2. Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind.
3. Let love be genuine. Abhor what is evil, hold fact to what is food.
