Welcome to Wisdom Today with Bill Kelley. Today we will be going over Proverb 18. I will then key in on verse 7 - A fool's mouth is his ruin, and his lips are a snare to his soul. Friends, ordinarily, in proverbs when they talk about a fool -we can pretty much understand that we are talking about people who are not Christians - meaning they don't think about God, or about pleasing Him. This verse talks about the importance of our words, and how we should think carefully about what will come out of our mouths (also see Proverb 18:21). On today's podcast we will continue our study of the Book of Romans - going over Chapter 7, verses 7-12. By the end of today's lesson there are three things I ask that you consider:
1. If it had not been for the law, I would not have known sin.
2. But sin, seizing an opportunity through the commandment, produced in me all kinds of covetousness.
3. So the law is holy, and the commandment is holy, and righteous, and good.
Scriptures referenced on today's podcast:

Call to Action - Are you aware that satan (meaning the devil) has no power over us? If we submit ourselves to God, and resist the devil (we must choose to do this), then he will flee from us - for God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble.
