The Financial Freedom Diaries

#29: The Fun Budget & 'Inside Job' Review

Listen Later

Heads up for next episode: you  can watch the whole of Touching The Void )which I will be talking about) here:  https://youtu.be/Ddeq-vRCZ8k

This episode I explain the importance of having a fun budget, but more importantly, how to *actually do one* - as opposed to lying to yourself that you are limiting your socialising spending limits this month (when all you are doing is writing down a plausible looking figure which you then go and  ignore).

Plus a review of the documentary about the 2008 financial meltdown, Inside Job. I had a rather unusual reaction to this film and I think it pays (in all senses  of the word) to be very conscious about how you watch documentaries like this one.

Free Money Coaching Session I still have some availability for a free hour's coaching via Zoom around your finances. This is for you if: *You feel overwhelmed by your money to-do list *You are a compulsive spender *You are stuck in analysis paralysis *You feel shame or guilt about your past mistakes and want to free yourself from this *You know what you should do, but have resistance to doing it *You have no idea what to do, and have resistance Drop me a line at mymoneyshift (at) gmail. com to set up the call.
