…in which I explain how I turned things around for myself and my business during this pandemic, and discovered a way of working that was not only more cost effective for my clients, but more enjoyable for me.
I talk about:
How a throwaway comment I heard on a seminar sperked an idea that has changed my business in a good way and helped me pivot
How I used other entrepreneurs as both positive AND negative role models
The importance of revering what you have to offer

…in which I talk about moving forward in spite of my dread and shame about this subject.
This weekend I googled 'pensions for the terrified' and was pleasantly surprised to find – among all the expected doom and gloom merchants – a beacon of hope.
In this episode I talk about what happened next.
Also:
*Asking what has actually worked? As a guide for moving forward
*What I did that made me feel really good and gave me an awful lot of hope
*Targets to aim for
*How to kill resistance
*The one month experiment I am going to do as a result of this episode

*NOTE ON AUDIO QUALITY* As explained in part one, this entire episode was recorded on my phone and the audio quality is lower than in the earlier episodes.
Today I give you a sales update and talk about the first mental obstacle I have hit.
This launch diary is my audio journal of the ups and downs of the process of launching my online product.
I talk about:
*Dealing with the flat feeling after the excitement of launching
*The post creative abyss – what is it?
*One example of how I have improved the product using roadtesters
*The importance of standing up to your nature and what feels intuitive
*What we can learn about this from Madonna's conical bra!

…in which I talk about my experiences tracking my latest product launch. I have previously played far too small in this area, and have always made the lion's share of my income from one-to-one coaching.
Today I talk about the job that I – and I think many people- have used product sales to do. This is serious entrepreneurial self-sabotage, but show me one product creator who has NOT fallen prey to this error!
I am going to use this audio journal to be far more accountable this time and face my marketing fears.

...in which I talk about - guess what?!? - how well I stuck to my spending limits in June.
A pretty granular episode, with not much in the way of inspiration, although I do bring a toddler to the party...well, metaphorically speaking anyway!
I will be back later in the summer.

Heads up for next episode: you can watch the whole of Touching The Void )which I will be talking about) here: https://youtu.be/Ddeq-vRCZ8k
This episode I explain the importance of having a fun budget, but more importantly, how to *actually do one* - as opposed to lying to yourself that you are limiting your socialising spending limits this month (when all you are doing is writing down a plausible looking figure which you then go and ignore).
Plus a review of the documentary about the 2008 financial meltdown, Inside Job. I had a rather unusual reaction to this film and I think it pays (in all senses of the word) to be very conscious about how you watch documentaries like this one.

...in which it's been a great month in many ways, in terms of income, opportunities and budgeting.
HOWEVER...
...this stepping up a level in empowerment is not all a garden of roses though. With it – and I think because of it – has come shame flashbacks to my previous behaviour around money.
In this episode I talk about the 3 ways to deal with this – the most powerful one being to rebel against that money shame.
I give one specific action step you can take to launch your own rebellion!

Feeling bad because you keep on self-sabotaging financially, using your credit card as a weapon against your own peace of mind, and etching worry lines deep into your forehead during the reading of your bank statement?
It's not your fault.
You have been satisfying an invisible need - but once you see it for what it is, you can stop this nonsense - because it's not a real need.
I explain what that need is in this episode.
Next time - what I did to stand up to this tendency in myself.
