Fair is my love,when her hair golden hairs

我的爱人如此唯美，蓦然回首

With the loosewind ye waving chance to mark;

她散开的金发在风中飞舞；

Fair when the rosein red cheeks appears,

我的爱人如此唯美，当她红润的脸颊玫瑰红萦绕，

Or in her eyes thefire of love does spark.

Edmund Spenser斯宾塞，十六世纪诗人，站在近代英国诗发展的起点，诗艺精湛，被认为全部英国诗史上最重要的六七个诗人之一。他的诗内容丰富，形式完整，在诗律上多所创造，如建立优美流畅的“斯宾塞体”（即九行体），影响深远，后世拜伦、雪莱、济慈、丁尼生等人都曾用它写出佳作，因此人们称斯宾塞为“诗人的诗人”。
