Fair Is My Love
Fair is my love,when her hair golden hairs
With the loosewind ye waving chance to mark;
她散开的金发在风中飞舞;
Fair when the rosein red cheeks appears,
Or in her eyes thefire of love does spark.
或是当她双目中闪过爱的火花;
Fair when herbreast like a rich laden bark,
With preciousmerchandise she forth doth lay,
像载满奇珍异宝的航船;
Fair when thatcloud of pride, which oft doth dark
Her goodly lightwith smiles she dries away.
But fairest she,when so she doth display
The gate withpearls and rubies richly dight
Through which herwords so wise do make their way
To bear themessage of her gentle sprite
The rest be worksof nature’s wonderment
But this the workof heart’s astonishment
Edmund Spenser
