Today is a reflection for you to consider of Jesus' 3rd and final response to the devil's temptations. Jesus was clear who gave Him authority and power and glory, so He had a strong rebuke to Satan's offer of kingdoms and splendor. Today you'll have a chance to bow and pray the words of Jesus, "Away from me Satan, for it is written: Worship the Lord your God, and serve him only." (See the full account in Matthew 3:1-11.) Jesus is a model for us to follow. Practice responding the way He responded to temptation. You do not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.
