The miraculous events around the birth of Jesus are found in 2 different gospel accounts, Luke and Matthew. These disciples approached the birth account from different perspective. Luke from Mary's lineage and account and Matthew from Joseph's lineage and account. This episode is a reading of both of those accounts but put in chronological order. It's a great one to listen to with family! Talk about what jumped out as a new detail or what spoke to you. Which of the people did you connect with the most? May this reading of the Holy Scripture be a satisfying meal and drink of celebration! Blessings and Merry Christmas!

In the interaction between Elizabeth and Mary, we see that Elizabeth spoke word of life over Mary. Her mouth was supernaturally filled with blessings over her. When is the last time you had someone speak words of life over you to encourage you in your faith, in the promises of God? Do you know what promises of God you are standing on right now? Listen in to be reminded of what the LORD has spoken over you. Stand firm under these blessings. Take ownership of them. Ask a friend to speak Luke 1:45 over you. Return the blessing and speak the same blessing over your believing friend.

Are you looking up, down, forward or backwards? Many of us are consumed with the future or excessively meditating on the past or heavy in spirit and looking down. God calls us to look up! To have our mouths filled with His hopeful message! To position by faith in His promises of peace and goodwill! So take this devotional and the prompts given and practice looking up! Speak out loud where you are prompted to do so! And look up!

Do we look away when need comes knocking? We like to think we would not. But as believers, we have the advantage of a heart of stone being made into a heart of flesh through the supernatural life of Jesus in us. Today, go back in time and be one of those who turned Joseph and Mary away. The One who came to lay himself down for us came into a world where no one would lay themselves down for Him.

Have you noticed this detail of Zacharias' account in Luke 1... that there was assembly of worshippers that gathered to pray? That they gathered during the "hour of incense"? See Luke 1:10. Try reading it in multiple versions. Will you be gathering with your family or church family to offer up sweet incense to Jesus? May you find some inspiration to do so through this Advent episode that includes language of worship to lift up to His Holy Name!

Arguments... "You can't prove a virgin birth." "The Bible is a fairy tale." "The Bible never said Jesus was God." "The Bible is just made up stories." "The Bible can't be proven." "The Bible has tons of errors and can't be trusted."

How many of these lies have you heard? How confidently do you respond? It feels awkward to not have a ready answer. But, you can have one and tell a sweet and miraculous true story (from our time!) in the process!

For this Advent, listen to the miraculous story of the young Muslim boy who discovered one of the greatest biblical finds that maybe ever has been found so far! The details have God's fingerprints all over it!

You'll hear how this modern day account verifies scriptures written BEFORE Jesus was born, and where those scriptures clearly point to the coming Holy One as God! You can be bold and confident in declaring the inerrant Word of God!

Hello! Still in a waiting process with God and bringing you alone so you can hear my prayer language. It's helpful to be still with Him by praying with another and to find inspiration by praying the Word of God. Today we pray into Psalm 62 which is language we speak to our soul to encourage us in God. We pray it through New Covenant eyes because Jesus is the fulfillment of all help, hope, and promises.
