On a spring afternoon long ago

Tonight, under the light

而今夜 在灯下

When I was combing my graying hair

梳我初白的发

It suddenly came to me the promise

忽然记起了一些没能

That I failed to live up to

实现的诺言 一些

And I was overwhelmed by some inexplicablesadness.
