  • ELECTION 2026: IF EVER THERE WAS A TIME TO PRAY....

With midterms Election Day 2026 coming up, this is a call for Christians to pray! Yes we must pray and especially VOTE! There are too many warning signs in our nation of a moral eroding and departure of the spiritual foundation of our nation. This was experienced by the prophet Daniel who expressed a prayer of repentance for his people in Daniel 9. This prayer in Dan. 9:1-17 will be the prayer for our nation in this podcast. It may be found, along with a brief introduction of this prayer at the 24 minute mark. There are also expositions on the two key chapters in the New Testament that deal with Christians and their relationship with government. These are found in Romans 13:1-7 and 1 Peter 2:13-17.

Pray for our election. Pray for repentance, righteousness, and renewal, so we may be one nation under God once again.

  • Oswald Chambers Devotional: COME TO JESUS

The famous minister of yesteryear, Oswald Chambers, left many outstanding books that Christians can find inspiration and great spiritual growth from. In this episode of 2DaysD, Oswald Chambers, the author of one of the greatest devotionals ever, "My Utmost for His Highest," gives us a spiritual gem from his October 8 entry in this classic. He will explore the topic of how to "Come to Jesus" from Matthew 11:28, which reads, "Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest." (NKJV) This devotional is thoughtful, will cause us to search our hearts and minds to better seek and follow our Lord and Savior in a much more fulfilling and biblical manner.

One correction from the podcast: The name of the author of the great hymn, Rock of Ages," was named incorrectly in the podcast. The real name is Augustus Toplady.

"My Utmost for His Highest" is offered by both secular and Christian bookstores. This devotional was taken from the October 8 entry. Those who wish to look into purchasing a copy are encouraged to do so in Christianbook.com (Christian Book Distributors). Books from this organization are always purchased at discounts and supports the Christian community as a whole.

  • A Moral Crisis, NFL Follies, and Final on Jelly Roll: A BAD WEEK FOR AMERICA

The recent Lindsay Clancy murder trial and its mistrial result brought shockwaves across the country. This podcast in its first section focuses on this and the potential for a horrible precedent that could soon be coming in the future.

The second part deals with the NFL's Buffalo Bills decision to play the Canadian national anthem in addition to the Star Spangled Banner at its upcoming game with the Detroit Lions on Thursday Night Football. As the NFL has no Canadian teams, along Buffalo not playing its game in Canada, it appears to be a senseless and useless activity because of the recent trade conflict between both nations' governments. It's not unlike the NFL to pull stunts like this, given the recent debacle at the game held in Australia.

The final section deals more with entertainer Jelly Roll in coverage from the first podcast from the week before. Do keep him in your prayers as his actions appeared to have brought many serious consequences since his spot on the Jimmy Kimmel show.

Correction: Regarding the number of male and female jurors on the Lindsay Clancy case, there were actually 9 females and 3 men, not 11 females and 1 male.

The sudden ending was due to a camera clip failure. Also, iOS updates affected the function of my recording app.

  • Brandon Lake and Jelly Roll: THE FAILURE OF EVANGELISM TODAY

One of the primary missions of Christians is to share the good news of the saving power of Jesus Christ with others. When we have opportunity to share the good news, we should be ready to either share or give a defense of the gospel. This is especially noted in 1 Peter 3:15: "But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts, and always be ready to tell everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you, with meekness and fear (reverence);... Christian entertainers who have desired to follow the world and leave Christian music have often displayed shallow and avoidance-type responses when asked in interviews about faith issues answered  minimally when talking about God, which gave the appearance that they became more like the world than where they came from. This podcast identifies two recent evidences of such behavior by artists Brandon Lake and Jelly Roll. This podcast is created to teach all of us who have sincere faith in Christ and to avoid denying the One Who in His grace redeemed us and always reach out to the lost as we have opportunities so they may come to faith as well.

  • BECAUSE THERE'S NOTHING AS SWEET AS FELLOWSHIP! 2026 Goals Check UP!

This episode of 2Days Denarius focuses on the spiritual goal of FELLOWSHIP for our 2026 mid year goals check up. Yes, it's time to take a look at our devotion to being part of a local New Testament Bible believing church. Also, we must look at how we can improve up our church attendance and ministries that we are, or should be, supporting. There are various other considerations to be looked at, along with some encouragement for listeners to increase participation and looking God's calling in their lives. A goal not refined may not be a good goal at all or neglected far to much to begin with. Let's not run that route! Let's be strongly devoted to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and the Great Commission!

  • SIGNS OF LIFE IN THE SOUTHERN BAPTIST CONVENTION!!

The 2026 Southern Baptist Convention Annual Meeting took place in Orlando, FL on June 9-10. There really was only one significant takeaway that perhaps showed that this organization and fellowship of churches just may be getting back to its roots. This was mainly seen in the enormous landslide passage of the Truth and Unity amendment, sponsored by Southern Baptist Theological Seminary President Al Mohler. This amendment serves to give clarity to the existing pastoral article in the Baptist Faith & Message 2000. The was the first step toward making this amendment part of the constitution of the SBC. It must win by over two-thirds vote once again during the SBC Annual Meeting that's scheduled in Indianapolis next year. Pray for the SBC. This year's meeting was a good step to restore some its principles and traditions that have long been held since its inception.

  • RED WAVE MAGA BLOWOUT! The FALL of the RINOs

What took place in the Texas primary on Tues, May 26 sealed a new era for GOP politics. Even with over $100 million poured into the campain of Senator John Cornyn, he was still crushed by his opponent, Attorney General Ken Paxton, challenging him for his seat by around 27 points. It was clear the Texas GOP voters were making their choices on issues over dollars in this election. The signs for this political earthquake were occurring throughout this campaign season, and finally produced the main lesson to be learned from this week. This is that President Trump is now clearly the leader of the Republican Party. This was sealed by an unprecedented 117-0 win rate by candidates he has endorsed in this primary cycle.
In addition, this episode will cover the concerns and spiritual dangers of Paxton's opponent in November, Texas Rep. James Talarico. Concerning statements by Talarico are covered with commentary from traditional evangelical doctrines that should raise the alarm in their camp.
News information provided in this video come from conservative sources noted below:

  • WHY THOMAS MASSIE LOST -- AND MORE!

Tuesday, May 19, was a day of turning of the tide for the new Red Wave. Though 2Days Denarius as a channel does not often address political issues, this ministry understands the critical need of addressing politics on occasion, especially when it comes to moral issues and/or those that address the wellbeing of the citizens of our nation. There were large rumblings from the conservative base showing their anger in the voting booth recently in Indiana and the Louisiana primaries. And then it spilled over into Kentucky in a big way. One representative, Thomas Massie, who steadily voting against critical issues that would have aided the wellbeing of citizens, along with restoring election integrity, was voted out of office in a landslide. It is necessary to give attention to this trend as this voter turnout just may move the balance away from the challenging party this year when midterm elections come. That remains to be seen. But it's clear the conservatives in the GOP have become the moving force when it comes to showing what they expect of their senators and representatives. This episode of 2Days Denarius will cover some of these issue. This podcast is produced from a recent video on this topic.
