  • EP:185 Wendigo or When not too

My name is Ryan Paul Tremblay. I’ve been a hardcore Cryptozoology enthusiast and researcher for well over 20 years now. Like many, My fascination with monsters and things that go “bump in the night” began very early on. Watching the Universal monster movies, Hammer films and of course, The Godzilla flicks was a staple in my home. As a kid, Monsters were a part of every day life. After watching the TOHO film “Half Human”, My young mind began to ponder what a Yeti was (this is the name used for Bigfoot in the film) and IF something like that could truly exist. My curiosity lead me to the infamous Patterson-Gimlin film and from that point on, Bigfoot was what I would live, eat and breathe. Growing up in New England was the perfect breeding ground for such a fascination. With plenty of wilderness around—and our Cryptid to boot, I soon began to hear not only of Bigfoot, but now the Dover Demon. As the years went on, I found more media accessible to my young mind: Books were plentiful and shows began to emerge in the early 90’s showcasing Cryptid encounters. But wait! There’s more!! As the early 2000’s rolled around, I began to hear more talk of the infamous beast known as The Beast of Bray Road. At first, I often laughed at such stories. In my mind, A bipedal Canine could not exist in our world. This was my strong belief until up around two years ago, where, here in Southern Arizona, I had my own personal encounter with the Dog Man. This simply fueled my obsession for Cryptozoology. Before I knew it, I was traversing down numerous rabbit holes. Jersey Devil. Upright Canids. Various forms of Sasquatch. Extraterrestrials and finally, The Wendigo. Through countless hours of hard work, plenty of literature and even the reluctant volunteering of information through connections to Indigenous people, I found a supernatural creature that captured my curiosity, my determination and fascination alike!

Wendigo (/ˈwɛndɪɡoʊ/) is a mythological creature or evil spirit which originates from the folklore of Plains and Great Lakes Natives as well as some First Nations. It is based in and around the East Coast forests of Canada, the Great Plains region of the United States, and the Great Lakes region of the United States and Canada, grouped in modern ethnology as speakers of Algonquian-family languages. The wendigo is often said to be a malevolent spirit, sometimes depicted as a creature with human-like characteristics, which possesses human beings. The wendigo is said to invoke feelings of insatiable greed/hunger, the desire to cannibalize other humans, as well as the propensity to commit murder in those that fall under its influence.

  • EP: 182 Near Death Experience (NDE) Rosemary Thornton

When Rose’s husband committed suicide at their home, she fell into a pit so deep and dark that medical professionals expressed doubts that she’d ever fully recover. Two years later, Rose was diagnosed with stage two cancer, and during a related “minor medical procedure,” she bled to death and had no heart beat for more than 10 minutes.

In heaven, her predominant emotion was profound gratitude that this life experience had ended, but the angelic beings she encountered encouraged Rose to return to earth. She was told that if she agreed to go back, she’d be restored to perfect health, physically, emotionally and mentally. The angels were right. Rose experienced a dramatic and thorough healing.

Her story has been heard by 10+ million people and the #1 most frequently heard comment is, “This is the best NDE I’ve ever heard.”

  • EP: 180 Bigfoot Anon: Connor Flynn

Connor Flynn : Bigfoot Anon joins the show to bring his high energy perspectives and talk about his field research.
I am Connor the Countryman and I believe we are in the center of the universe. I was born in Cleveland and now live in the Panhandle of Florida. My dad is a firefighter and my mom grew up on a farm. I have family members that were war heroes and others that were lifelong criminals. On my quest for cryptids and consciousness, I believe I may be perceived as both.

All movies are based on true events in one form or another. As humans, we can't make anything up. The only thing to never exist is COINCIDENCE. Elves in Middle Earth, Vampires vs Werewolves, Jack and the Bean Stalk are all based in reality according to my research! I enjoy the visual trip and the ride of the mind when I watch movies. I've been lucky enough to appear in multiple movies and act in few plays and musicals. Psychedelics and cinema channels communication with the deities above.

Through my adventures and days, I always knew there was more to this world. I was fascinated by graveyards but hospitalized by nightmares. I was intrigued to sasquatch but knew he could rip me to shreds. I made fun of my mom for being scared of Jaws but I was anticipating him every time I swam in Lake Erie. I am a walking oxymoron but I think I'm onto something.

I believe in a lot of things but mostly believe in people. I will take the word of my fellow brethren before any institution. I respect my elders but have a problem with abusive authority. I think people deserve the truth but I know they can't handle the truth. Many things I have discovered create a heavy burden. But I rather know and adapt than have to be in the dark and react. Without the facts, we are at risk. But the fact of the matter is, life is a risk. Take a gamble but do everything in your power to make sure you succeed. And that's what I'm going to do til I no longer bleed…or breathe! Dream!

  • EP: 176 Ryan Pitterson: Judgment of the Nephilim

    Judgement of the Nephilim

6,000 years ago a war began. A war to rule Heaven and Earth that dates all the way back to the Garden of Eden. In the Garden, God told Satan that one day a woman would give birth to a male child – the Messiah, who would redeem humanity and destroy him. In order to prevent this child’s birth, Satan instigated a fallen angelic rebellion. A group of angels broke off their allegiance to the Lord and entered the earthly realm to corrupt the human gene pool and prevent the Savior’s birth.

These fallen angels (“sons of God”) took human wives (“daughters of men”) and had children with them. Their offspring – hybrid half-human, half-angelic beings, were superhuman giants known as the Nephilim. With human DNA corrupted and humanity hanging in the balance, The Lord unleashed a punishment against the Nephilim so severe, only Noah and his family would survive.

Ryan Pitterson is a Biblical researcher and writer with an emphasis in ancient Hebrew thought and theology. He received his B.A. from the University of Rochester and his JD from Columbia University Law School.
