It is very cold in the West Of Scotland, so we have been sheltering where we lay and not been getting to the movies, so this week is a streaming service heavy one.

We cast an eye over Netflix heist movie starring comedy juggernaut (not being funny) Kevin Hart in 'Lift', family action comedy on Apple+ starring a rapping Marky Mark 'The Family Plan', Sky Cinema single take action thriller sequel 'One More Shot' and we finish with documentary 'Albert Brooks: Defending My Life'

On this weeks episode, one of us talks about 'Priscilla' because he forgot to last week, we both delve into 'Society Of The Snow', the other one talks about 'Good Grief' and we finish by dissecting 'Little Bone Lodge'

We also discuss 'Monarch: Legacy Of Monsters', 'Marvels What If..?', get back into 'Sisu' and call out Scott Adkins acting ability (which will no doubt lead to the death of one of us)

The last review show of 2023, we talk all things 'Chicken Run: Dawn Of The Nuggets' on Netflix, some festive fun on PrimeVideo with 'Your Place Or Mine 2' and then we go to the cinema and are charmed completely by 'Wonka' and we finish with the most exciting flick of the year (for us anyway) 'Godzilla Minus One'.

This week is a somewhat shortended episode as festive cheer gives us less time to watch movies.

We do watch 'May December' on Sky Cinema, a taught thriller that is dividing opinion starring Natalie Portman and Julianne Moore. Then it's to Netflix for sci apocalyptic thriller with another heavyweight cast 'Leave the World Behind'. We finish with new thriller on Shudder 'The Sacrifice Game'.

We embrace the festive spirit on this weeks Three Beers And A Movie. with not one, not two but THREE festive movies getting a watch. We travel to 'Candy Cane Lane' with Eddie Murphy, rub a magic thing in 'Genie' and enter a parrallel world for Xmas horror 'It's A Wonderful Life'. We also call time on the final movie of legendary filmmaker Ken Loach with 'The Old Oak' and go dark with pod favourite George Mackay in 'Femme'.

This week on 3 Beers And A Movie, both of us have actually seen stuff - alas not the same stuff but we are trying.

We discuss Netflix 'Scott Pilgrim Takes Off' animated series, and then we get into movies. Starting with the return of Emerald Fennell with 'Saltburn', Netflix documentary 'Stamped From The Beginning' and we finish with Martin Scorsese's newest offering 'Flowers Of The Killer Moon'.
