This week on 3 Beers And A Movie, we spend a lot of time talking television, namely 'Extraordinary' on Disney+, and the third (possibly best) episode of 'The Last Of Us'. 

When we do get to the movies its all about Academy Award nominated documentary 'Fire Of Love' on Disney+, its onto PrimeVideo for JLo lead romantic action adventure 'Shotgun Wedding', then we are back to the cinema for the much y lauded and equally reviled 'Babylon' and we finish with the return of the master with 'The Fabelmans' from Steven Spielberg. 

A quiet episode this week as broken cinema, illness and life get in the way of all things movie watching.

We discuss episode 2 of 'The Last Of Us', and movies Netflix feel good flick 'Bank Of Dave' and Oscar and BAFTA nominated 'Aftersun'.

We also touch on the Oscar announcements and question some of the stranger nominations. 

a busy episode as we spend a lot of time talking about the newest HBO series 'The Last Of Us', then its onto the movies with new horror 'M3gan', the non biopic biopic 'Tar' and we finish with Czech historical hero in 'Medieval'.

We finally discuss the biggest film release of the past decade with lots of chat on 'Avatar: The Way Of Water', we delve into Netflix adaptation 'The Pale Blue Eye' starring Christian Bale, (recent) historical drama 'Till' and Antonio Banderas action thriller 'The Enforcer'. 

2022 is in the rear view mirror, gone, we forge forward with the first episode of 2023 by watching films all released in 2022. 

First up is Rian Johnsons sequel to his whodunit smash hit 'Knives Out' this time its  a whole new mystery in 'The Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery', then we head to world of Disney with new animated feature 'Strange World' available on Disney+ and still in cinemas, and we finish with the adaptation of an unfilmable novel 'White Noise'. Also mixed in there is a rant regarding one of the worst films one of us has ever seen....

Final episode of 2022 and as is now tradition on the pod we spend it reflecting on the cinematic year of 2022. We try and keep it positive and talk about what we loved, but sometimes you cant help but get angry and what you do not like. All culminating in our 3 Beers Top Ten of the year, voted for by all those involved in the pod and listeners.

MERRY XMAS to one and all!

We close out our last regular pod of the year with chat about the THIRD adaptation of the classic 'Pinocchio' this time on Netflix, we feel a lot and we mean a lot of white guilt watching 'Emancipation' on Apple+ and we question why is Rebecca Hall not the biggest star in the world after watching 'Resurrection' on Shudder

We have been off for a week, but we are back and we have sooooooo many movies to talk about. Starting with Norwegian monster fare with 'Troll', then its off to the cinema for thriller 'The Menu', true life drama 'The Silent Twins', more thrills with 'Nocebo', true life drama with 'She Said' and we finish with Apple + Xmas offering 'Spirited'

One of us is doing all the heavy lifting this, and by heavy lifting we mean actually watching some movies. 

We start with Amazon Prime 'comedy' release 'The People We Hate At The Wedding', followed by Sky Cinema offering, the heartbreaking drama 'Aisha', then its on Apple + for some clever sci fi 'Something In The Dirt' and we finish with another 'Special Presentation' from the MCU on Disney+ 'The Guardians Of the Galaxy: Holiday Special'

Another busy episode this week, with cinema and all the streaming services getting attention. 

We start with the return to the big screen of ultra cool, never ruffled IP Fletcher in 'Confess, Fletch', the cinema also provides scares with us finally being able to talk about the uber successful horror 'Smile' and go in the complete opposite direction with Anne Hathaway, Anthony Hopkins & Jeremey Strong in hard hitting family drama 'Armageddon Time', there is also a brief discussion on the still in cinemas and still lovely 'Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile'.

The streaming services offer up some interesting fare with big budged Netflix family romp 'Slumberland' and we return to the world of Enchanted with Amy Adams in 'Disenchanted', and we give a warning to avoid a big hitting cast thriller thats made its way now to streaming...sorry to all involved in 'Amsterdam'.
