This week I was humbled to be joined by Benny Braaten of Folket Bortafor Nordavinden on the Nordic Sound Channel. Benny is a grizzled veteran of the Nordic music scene and it was he and the rest of FBN who led the ceremonial music for this year's Midgardsblot. Among many things, Benny shares his wisdom and experiences after many years of finding himself as a musician. We also talk about cosmic jam rock sessions in A, Midgardsblot, Harald Foss, what "viking" music is (or isn't), what it means to be true to yourself as a musician and how special of a gift it is to be able to make music.
