3-Bit Gamer Show

JD is leaving for the beach so we record an early sode so he can sit back and relax.  We play a Reindeer Games with our desert island games.

On this week's sode, EA loses billions, only 1% of devs are working on Playdate titles, and a digital library is going live.  We also have a ton of riblets.  We talk about grinding in video games and Peterson picks his Dice game.

On this week's sode we the Concord virus spreads, GamePass sees more struggles, Nintendo Switch 2 is announced, Microsoft announces layoffs, Elon is beefing with Asmongold, and Palworld keeps things alive with duct tape.  We talk about game controllers and JD reviews Case of the Golden Idol.

It's the second part of the 2024 Blursties!  Our annual "worst-of" episode where we make nominations for the worst things in gaming.  Our categories for this episode are:

Most Overrated
Worst Sequel
Biggest Disappointment
Worst Launch
Worst Bug

It's the Blursties!  Join us to hear our nominations for the "worst of" in gaming for 2024.  The following categories are discussed:

Worst Gamer Rage
Worst Name
Worst Decision
Worst Studio
Worst Feature

This is our annual prediction sode where we recap some of our predictions from last year, make predictions for the new year, and then make some gaming resolutions.

We have Lynn on this week's sode.  We talk about Balatro being rated the same as GTA, Borderlands toilet humor, kid's gambling Robux on the dark web, and NFTs (again, Ubisoft?).

We do some Good, Bad, and Ugly about couch co-op games and JD picks his Dice game.

Celebrating episode 400 by being one of our shortest in years!  We talk about some accessibility, XDefiant shutting down, and Marvel Rivals news (not a review yet).  We have a very active foodos segment and then Peterson does a first impression of Techtonica.  JD picks his dice game, we play an old 3-bit Christmas song, and end it.

We're finally back and live again.  Sony is making some moves that don't make a ton of sense, Blizzard brings back some old games, and some dudes successfully heist some video game gear.  We talk about what Christmas decorating is in video game terms. Peterson reviews Dark Deity.  JD rerolls the dice.
