Jake has loved Stevie since high school when he tutored her in science. Her life too a turn towards the entertainment industry and he has become a physics professor. When Stevie shows up in his driveway one day he is t quite sure what to do with her. She's in hiding. Over the next few days he helps her in her healing journey and then sends he on her way again. This was a great story with a happy ending.

How many times do we wish we could go back and be wiser in school and realize what truly made someone special may not make them popular but special means more in the end.

I enjoyed the kind hearted physicist as the main character in this story. This is a sweet, clean love story.

Years later Stevie now a Nashville star returns to what she thinks is a safe place to recover from a devastating loss. Jake, now a science professor/cowboy/rancher/father to his niece isnât so nerdy anymore. I loved how these two after falling in love take it slow and find a way to work around their two lifestyles. This story shows that with some work love can find a way.
