Excuses can be looked at as Self-Handicapping... when we express them we can be harming our own performance & motivation.

Some excuses can be needed if they help us avoid low self esteem etc.

But most of the ones we use are just there to avoid fear &/or escape reality.

These are the 3 excuses to avoid:

  1. I have to many events/functions on.. or Work 'long lunches' are needed for business!
  2. I don't have enough time
  3. She doesn't give me enough sex
