3 For A Dolla Podcast

3 for a Dolla returns with a special recap of the Grammys. We give our takes on the nominees and winners of this year's Grammy Award Show from a range of categories including, Best Rap/Sung Performance, Best R&B album, Album of the Year, Record of the Year, and Best Rap album to name a few. Who made these categories? Did anyone get snubbed? Does Jay-Z have any Grammys? Toward the end, we discuss Arin Ray's "Platinum Fire" being one of the best R&B albums in the last three years. Give us your two cents in the comments and let us know what you think.

Gobe, Gi (Raval Lavar), & Brytnie Devon talk Soulja Boy birthing social media challenges, Ariana Grande “stealing” Soulja Boy’s flow on new song “7 Rings” and recycled sounds, covers, samples, and influences in hip hop. Where do you draw the line between paying homage to artists and “stealing” content? The conversation flows into Drake, the self-proclaimed best “rapper” and his history of referencing other artists lyrics and flows. Does Drake features take away from the original artist? As always, give us your two cents in the comments.
