I was tired of getting bad sleep and waking up 6-8 times a night so I decided to do some research on it. I’ve applied these 3 simple things each day and it’s made a huge difference to my sleep. I also dive into the details of why we need sleep and the benefits of it. And don’t accept the false reality that your sleep gets worst as you get older. Yes, your body does get stiffer, and your stresses might accrue quicker as you get older from taking on more responsibilities, but that just means you have to work a little harder to get your body back to that relax mode (physically & mentally) as you once had consistently as a kid. It’s time to get up and do something about it. Lastly, 3 additional minor things you can do (not mentioned in the podcast) for better sleep: drink half your body weight of water in oz each day, sleep in a cool house that’s around 65-70 degrees, and try to make a routine out of a 14 hour fast (no eating) after your last bite of dinner.
