Dr. Irina Artsimovitch is a Professor in the Department of Microbiology at Ohio State University.
She has decades of experience in the field of biology and has published numerous publications on the mechanism and regulation of RNA chain synthesis in bacteria. In addition, much of her research has focused on the bacterial virulence factor, RFAH. Dr. Artsimovitch is currently working on developing potential antibiotics to combat COVID-19.
