3 Pillars of DnD Cast episodes

  • Episode 7 - Character Examples of the Ranger

Welcome to anther episode of the 3 Pillars of DnD Cast, where we discuss the 3 pillars of DnD (Social Interaction, Combat, and Exploration) and how focusing on these can change how you make your characters and campaigns.

In the character episodes we each take a pillar, decide on a subclass exemplifies that and make a character based on that subclass.

We make the character at whatever level gets the general idea across for what we are going for, which tends to fall between levels 7 to 12.  We use the standard array for ability points so characters have strengths and weaknesses.

This episode we discuss three subclasses (Gloom Stalker, Hunter, and Horizon Walker) of the ranger class and we make characters focusing on the 3 pillars.

Tasha's Cauldron of Everything practically rewrote the Ranger class by allowing you to swap out many of the class features.  In this episode we discuss them all and more...
