Today's guest on the pod is Spencer Hawkswell CEO of Therapsil, a small non-profit coalition  based in British Columbia dedicated to helping Canadians in medical need access legal, psilocybin-assisted psychotherapy and medical psilocybin. Spencer believes responsible drug policy requires effective organization and leadership dedicated to bringing together the experts and advocates, to facilitate change in the available treatment options for those in need. His team believes that psilocybin-assisted psychotherapy is a reasonable treatment option for palliative patients in end-of-life distress and is working hand in hand with physicians and therapists to support patients in one of the most challenging phases of their life.
