• NVIDIA (NVDA) - Expert options trader and Benzinga maven, Nic Chahine, in his chat room on Benzinga Pro, discussed NVIDIA and Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) as a couple stocks to watch to gauge clues about investors' appetites for risk. Nic said he would also look to small-cap stocks as another way to consider the cues investors are giving about their willingness to seek risk.
• GameStop (GME) - Will report quarterly results on Wednesday of next week. The company will be out with their figures after market close.
• Snowflake (SNOW) - A software play and potential peer for Okta (OKTA). Shares of Okta traded down nearly 20% in Thursday's pre-market session following weak earnings and concerning guidance.
• Coupa Software (COUP) - A software company with upcoming earnings. The company will report results on Tuesday of next week. Analysts at Citigroup initiated coverage on the stock Thursday morning ahead of next week's earnings. Citigroup set its recommendation on Coupa at Buy.
• Hempacco (HPCO) - An initial public offering (IPO) from earlier this week. After pricing at $6 per share on Tuesday, shares closed Wednesday's session around $5.50. The stock was up more than 50% Thursday morning to over the $7.50 level. The company is a manufacturer and seller of nicotine-free and tobacco-free alternatives to traditional cigarettes.
