After a week off I am back and better than ever! I go over my first race as a media member from the SRX race at Five Flags Speedway. We had action from all 3 series this past weekend and there is plenty to discuss. It was a dominating weekend for drivers like Ryan Preece and Justin Allgaier, however Sundays race was more marathon than sprint. Between two rain delays the complexion of the Cup race changed as JGR went from dominating to trying to catch eventual winner Chase Elliott. Silly season has officially kicked off as two drivers locked up their 2023 plans and a prominent Xfinity team could be making the jump to Cup in the near future. Starting off this weeks show we have exciting news to share about the future of 3 Wide you don’t wanna miss! Trackhouse took another checkered flag at a road course this time from first time winner Daniel Suarez! We breakdown all that Suarez has went through in his career and what to look forward to now that he has checked that important box. Kyle Busch was able to win Saturdays truck race to avoid a winless season in that series. I also go over Hocevars week and weekend and how it came out as positive as it could. I also dive deep into the playoff outlook for both series and how the upsets may come more than once for the Cup stars. While it may be an off weekend for the Cup and Xfinity series the Trucks go back to Knoxville in what is sure to be a race for survival. What does Tanner Gray and Matt Dibenedetto need to do to keep their playoff hopes alive? We discuss it all on 3 Wide.

After an unexpected wild weekend of racing we look over the action from all 3 series. Corey Heim got his second career wins and looks to be ready for the jump to full time competition while Hailie Deegan finally turns up the aggression on the track. We also look at the wreck involving Carson Hocevar and what can be improved in safety response. The simmering feud between Noah Gragson and Ty Gibbs continues to slowly heat up in what is sure to be a battle in the playoffs. And AJ Allmendinger goes from off track pre race to victory lane post race as we look at his busy day. Joey Logano came away with the win Sunday but the story of the day was Ross Chastain and Denny Hamlin mixing it up with some assistance from Chase Elliott. We discuss why that it would be in Chastains best interest to tone down the aggression as he looks for a deep run in the playoffs. As always before I sign off I put the spotlight on some deserving drivers this week and look ahead at the upcoming race at Sonoma including the truck series first visit since 1998!

The Coca-Cola 600 is back and better than ever! We had 3 straight days of great racing and it is all covered here. We discuss everything from Carson Hocevar coming so close to that 1st win, JR Motorsports continuing their domination of the Xfinity series, and Sundays wild 600 mile race. Sundays race was the longest in NASCAR history and I still wanted more. With how great the racing was at Charlotte I go over what that should mean for the All Star Race and Texas Motor Speedway. We also go over the comments by both Ryan Preece and Carson Hocevar after the two wrecked at the end of the truck race. We also look ahead at the upcoming weekends races as 2 of the 3 series head to new tracks. So much is covered on 3 Wide you don’t want to miss a second of it!

The 2nd All Star race at Texas has concluded and it had plenty of people talking, unfortunately for the wrong reasons. Ryan Blaney was able to leave a million dollars richer, but had to overcome a questionable caution and a battle with his own window net. We go over the exciting Open race and the All Star race and all the controversy at the end. There was also Truck and Xfinity action Friday and Saturday as we cover each race and the surprise winners from those series. I give my take on what I think would fix the All Star race and advice from members of the sport as well. Coming up is Memorial Day weekend as we observe those who gave it all for us to have the freedoms we do and honor them at the upcoming Crown Jewel race, the Coke 600.

Kurt Busch continues to elevate whatever team he’s with and is now a winner for 23XI racing. We go over the entire weekend at Kansas Speedway and discuss Zane Smith continuing his dominant season, Playoff hopeful drivers running into tire issues, and Toyota rebounding and getting all their drivers in the top 10. The spotlight is put on 3 drivers who were able to finally able to get solid finishes Saturday and Sunday. Also, Logano doubles down on his feelings about Darlington and how Byron should not test him. I explain how the opposite can most likely occur and Logan may have déjà vu to 2015. There is plenty to discuss and digest as we move forward to All-Star weekend on this episode of 3 Wide.

Darlington delivered yet again. Drivers in all 3 series were able to break their winless streak and one in controversial fashion. We breakdown all 3 races from John Hunter Nemechek narrowly avoiding a thrown beer can, Allgaier dominating at Darlington again, And Joey Logano knocking William Byron out of the way for the win. Was it justified or uncalled for? Also discussed is Kyle Busch parking his car at the entrance of the garage and how he continues to be the best personality in the sport. After an extended weekend of racing it seems the Next-Gen car has brought Dover back to life. We look over the race weekend and the battles between Gragson and Ty Gibbs, as well as Truex vs Chastain and what it could lead to in the playoffs. JR Motorsports continued their dominance at Dover and will that lead to a resurgence for Justin Allgaier? Start times were the topic of the weekend and that will be tackled in this weeks episode and when we could see changes. Also discussed is Chase Elliotts 1st win on an oval in a year and a half but how consistency has been more important so far. When the checkered flag fell Sunday it ended a weekend full of statement performances. Noah Gragson continues to improve and become a well rounded driver. Jeffery Earnhardt handled all the pressure that came with driving the 3 car and stepped up to the challenge. Ross Chastain made the right moves when it counted and continued his impressive 2022 season with Trackhouse. Between all these storylines you also Kyle Busch laying out all his cards on his contract situation. We will cover his comments as well as what it could mean for silly season.

The 2nd straight season of dirt racing at Bristol has been completed. We had action across 2 nights and plenty of storylines to follow. Just a week after saying dirt racing takes the sport backwards Kyle Busch came away with a clean victory while drivers in both series were going for their first wins and lost them in heartbreaking fashion and we look at each one and discuss how their day will come. We also breakdown the rare respectful post race confrontation and how Bristol dirt may be here to stay. And we discuss the upcoming Talladega weekend and the exciting news that was broke over the weekend for both the Xfinity and Cup series.
