We like to pretend that those elected and appointed as judges are serving a higher calling. Some of us believe that judges are some of the most intelligent, fair, measured, and law abiding among us. However, judges are human, greedy self-serving morons just like most people are. Their mistakes just cost people their futures, and sometimes even their lives.
