Is happiness the goal of life, or something that naturally emerges when we live with meaning, purpose, love, and connection? Constantly chasing happiness may only make us more aware of what we lack, while sadness, hardship, sacrifice, and discomfort can coexist with a deeply fulfilling life. Happiness is temporary and cannot be controlled or permanently captured, but a meaningful life can give those moments greater depth and value. Perhaps the goal isn't to feel happy all the time, but to build a life that feels worth living, even when it hurts.
