In this episode, I take a nostalgic journey through the 1990s by watching the classic TV show, Beverly Hills 90210. Born in 1983, I wasn't allowed to watch it growing up due to my controlling and religious household. Now, at 41, I'm binge-watching the series and reflecting on life before smartphones, texting, and social media. From the use of payphones and video rental stores to the lack of online shopping and instant communication, I discuss the simplicity and differences of the past. I also talk about how the show responsibly handled topics like sex, drugs, and self-harm. Join me as I share my insights, comparisons, and fond memories of a time long before the digital age took over.
