Rabindranath Tagore was a poet, writer and musician from Bengal who won the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1913 for his work "Gitanjali". He was also a painter, illustrator as well as an artist who used watercolor on paper as his medium. He was also known for his short stories, which are considered classics in Bengali literature today. He also wrote novels including "Gora" (1910) and "Chokher Bali" (1911), which have been adapted into films multiple times.
