He worked at the Sheriff's Department on the gang unit, He is an Author and has written 2 books one on suicide and the next on gang intervention,  He attempted suicide which prompted him to write his first book. Burroughs is also a tv host and producer of the public access TV Show Teens only which ran for 20 yrs.
