The murder of Kathy Bright left something to be desired in Dennis Rader, but when life demands his full attention his hunt for the perfect sexual release is put to the back burner for nearly 4 years. In March of 1977 a young Officer is called to the home of a young mother who is found not moving by her two young sons and what transpired only showed a partial M.O. of the infamous BTK who laid claim to the vicious murder of the four Otero family members.

Detectives fear that the young officer is right and telling the community that there is a serial killer on the lose in Wichita Kansas could cause more harm than good that is until he ups his demand after committing what he calls the perfect hit.
