BTK's body count is coming to an end and he hasn't even realized it, his last two victims are rushed jobs- someone is always calling or coming by. His timing is off but the drive for gratification is in overdrive, he cannot do another 6 years without relief. Wichita Kansas PD and the Park City PD have no idea that these last two victims are to be added to the allusive serial killer that has been terrorizing the community for 17 years; rumor has it in the last bad storm they had it washed him out of the area. But what is right under there noses is the new and improved M.O. but with the Ghostbusters disbanded no one is catching these small tokens Dennis Rader is leaving in his wake.

A husband accused of killing his wife in a heat of the moment strangling and a grandmother kidnapped and killed left for anyone to walk up on and find do not fit the pattern they've been studying. 

Dennis's age is starting to show and the whole thing could blow open any moment unless he intertwines his public life even farther in the community making it almost impossible for anyone who knows him to accuse him of these torturous murders.
