Here's the Left of Lansing "Monday Musing" for September 8, 2025.

MAGA Michigan House Republicans passed a bill banning Transgender youths from using the bathrooms of their gender identity in schools. Instead, they're being forced to use the bathrooms of their assigned sex at birth. 

They passed the bill in efforts to hide how their own state budget proposal seeks to gut the working class in a myriad of ways, but also in hopes to divide and distract the working class just enough so that they'll be successful in further enriching their corporate authoritarian donor base. 

And if they're successful at further demonizing Transgender Americans, which group of marginalized Americans are next on their list?
