The party continues their descent into the Chasm of Flies. The climb is steady but slow. All seems to be going well until Gretta loses her grip and falls into the darkness.

The coterie awakens on their first full night in London to find Mithras' influence extends to kine as well. They are summoned by the Toreador Justicar, Violetta who offers them suggestions to where they might begin their hunt for Ambrogino. Thanking her for her kindness, while Gretchen narrowly avoids being staked, they head off to the home of Mallotte.

With Clearwater destroyed by the legion of dead, the party escapes into the forest in search of Valinar's Folly. They soon realize the undead are moving fast enough to catch up to them, preventing them from getting much-needed rest.

After making their way through the Devil's March, the party arrives at what can only be The Chasm of Flies. Large spider webs and unyielding darkness awaits them as the descend into the chasm.
