May 12, 2015Learn to Surf on 30AAll summer long experienced surfers will run two three-hour camps a day at two beach locations along Scenic Highway 30A, getting kids in the water, teaching them safety and helping them catch their first (or fiftieth) wave. The classes begin May 11 and run through September 10. They will be held Mondays through Thursdays from 9 a.m. to noon and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Seagrove Plaza in Seagrove Beach and the Ed Walline Regional Beach Access across from Gulf Place. We caught up with Tiffanie Shelton, Founder and Executive Director to talk about one of our area's home grown foundations. Food For Thought Outreach Inc is a non profit organization with a mission to support the children in our community. Food For Thought provides healthy, easy to prepare food weekly to elementary aged children who might not otherwise have enough food. By providing weekly support to these children we help support their physical, mental and emotional development.
