What is a pub quiz? “Hello and welcome everybody to DebOnAir. Tonight in honour of St. Patrick's Day, we're going to talk about the Pup Quiz.

So come along, everyone. Picture yourselves in a friendly pub where people gather together to play a game. We call it the pub quiz, and it's a lot of questions, trivia questions mostly, about all sorts of things.

And we get into teams to figure out the answers and win prizes. Well, so far, our team has only won the prize for best name, best quiz team name, but it was a very free round of drinks, so hey, that's pretty good. But you know, I want you to try and imagine it's the excitement as friends laugh and they cheer each other on.

There's a great atmosphere in the air, and it's just a good bit of fun. So if you're curious, maybe you should join us at a pub quiz sometime. It's a fabulous way to practice your English and learn and make new friends too.
