In this video, I talk about who I help as a professional home organizer, and you may have guessed it already - It's moms!
Why? I help moms declutter their homes because moms (and dads but talking about moms here today) try and do it all! They tend to abandon themselves for the role of mom, forgetting to take care of themselves.
When you declutter your home and focus on having less, it gives you a chance to have more time for the things that matter - and you should be on the top of that priority list mama.
Self-care (exercising, journalling, meditating, going for a walk by yourself, praying, relaxing, taking a bath, visiting a friend) - all of these things you should do so without feeling guilty. But for some reason, we still do! I'm here to tell you that for some reason when we have less clutter and our homes are organized, we have less guilt taking care of ourselves and doing the things we want to do because the home is taken care of. Our kids are obviously taken care of too, but that's by default.
So mama, if you're struggling with taking care of yourself, then it just might be time to declutter everything you do not need or use in your home - you will not regret it!
